MEET REBECCA
Rebecca Kohl, MS, BCBA, is the founder and President of Walk With Me, LLC. Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University in 2011, and her Master of Science in Psychology, with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella University in 2015. Rebecca completed the ABA coursework from University of West Florida in 2020 and was certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in July 2020. Rebecca’s primary experience is working with adults with intellectual disabilities which started in 2004, and throughout her career, she has also worked with children with severe aggressive and inappropriate sexual behaviors, as well as adults with severe mental illnesses. These various areas of experience enabled Rebecca to gain a tremendous amount of knowledge in many areas, including prevention and response to severe aggression, trauma informed care, understanding various mental illnesses, and knowledge of how to support people with different diagnosis and comorbid diagnosis. This well-rounded knowledge and expertise has enabled her to provide extensive training to other caregivers and clinicians on these subjects. Rebecca has also worked side by side with many types of psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists providing truly collaborative treatment to people with intellectual disabilities.

As the founder and President of Walk With Me, Rebecca’s primary goal is to expand the services available to people in Delaware with intellectual disabilities in need of behavioral and mental health support. Rebecca’s vision for Walk With Me is not only to meet this need, but also to help people with intellectual disabilities see they can get the high quality, truly personalized support and care they need and deserve without fear of judgement.
